Initially, the client only asked for my help in choosing a paint color that would make her bedroom feel more refreshed and inviting. She loves airy, soft colors and uncluttered spaces.

She also mentioned wanting better organization for her clothing. During my visit, I noticed a small desk on the side that her husband uses as a computer workspace. She also had many beauty products on the bedside tables and on top of her dresser. She explained that she often has to move them back and forth from the bathroom, as she doesn’t have a dedicated makeup area or sufficient storage for her products.

They have a painting above the bed that they truly love, so we made it the focal point of the room, letting it guide the colors and overall vibe of the space.

We started by painting the walls white to create a lighter, more airy feel and to make the painting with the black frame really stand out. To add more visual interest, we also installed picture frame trim on the wall.

The blinds were painted the same color as the walls, and we added curtains for a more cohesive and calming look.

The client had a bedroom set made from rose birch wood that she really loved, but the dresser was stored away in the shed, and the two bedside tables were placed in different bedrooms. We brought back her cherished birch wood set and replaced the bed with a new IKEA model featuring built-in storage underneath, providing space for her bedsheets.

We also created a workspace for her husband on the right and a dedicated makeup desk for her on the left. To maximize storage, we added two wall-mounted cabinets above the dresser and made the most of every available space—under the bed, inside the wardrobe, and even beneath the lamps.
